Thermal Management Heat generated by installed components can have a seriously detrimental effect on those components. To ensure a proper working environment, the excess heat must be dissipated, and this is best achieved through managed air flow. In addition to choosing the correct doors, various accessories can support correct thermal management. Cable Entry Cover Plates : Close off cable entry slots on roof or plinths. Available in snap in plastic or more secure metal type. Blank Panels : Available in sizes 1U through 5U. Close open area on the rack to force cool outside air through installed equipment. Monitor Mask : Closes the gaps around the monitor Brush Strips : For roof, plinth or front mounting, allows cables to pass, but blocks air and some contaminants from entering.  Download PDF file
